H.R. 10522 · The COMPACT Act
End federally funded animal abuse.
Your tax dollars pay for experiments on dogs and cats. The NIH paid $1.68 million for tests where beagle puppies were injected or force-fed an experimental drug for weeks, then killed and dissected.1 At an NIH lab in Maryland, beagles had their throats cut to insert breathing tubes. All five died.2 The COMPACT Act cuts off this HHS money. Ridglan Farms, a beagle breeder for labs, just shut down. This bill could help end the suffering at Marshall BioResources, the biggest breeder of dogs for labs in America.
