The Site is operated by The Simple Heart Initiative to support the campaign to rescue beagles from Ridglan Farms in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. The Site provides information about the campaign, accepts petition signatures, volunteer sign-ups, and donations.
By signing the petition, you represent that the information you provide (name, email, location) is accurate. Your signature may be displayed publicly (first name and last initial) unless you opt out. We may share aggregate signature counts publicly. We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
By signing up for the rescue action, you acknowledge that participation in nonviolent direct action carries legal risks. The information provided in the NVDA form is confidential and will only be shared with authorized organizers for the purpose of coordinating the action. You may withdraw at any time.
Certain features require authentication via Google, Facebook, or magic link. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. You agree not to share access or impersonate others.
By providing your email address, you may receive updates about the campaign. You can unsubscribe at any time. If you opt in to the Simple Heart newsletter, you will be subscribed to our Substack. If you consent to sharing with coalition partners, your information may be shared with Direct Action Everywhere and affiliated organizations.
Donations are processed through third-party payment processors (Zeffy). Donation terms and refund policies are governed by those processors. The Simple Heart Initiative is a nonprofit organization.
All content on the Site, including text, images, and videos, is owned by The Simple Heart Initiative or used with permission. You may share content from the Site for noncommercial purposes related to animal advocacy with attribution.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use cookies, analytics, and the Meta Pixel to improve the Site and measure campaign effectiveness.
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Information about legal proceedings, laws, and rights is for educational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.
The Simple Heart Initiative shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in any campaign activities.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
